1969	Creation of the first radio communication company by Claude & Lysiane Schmitz in Paris (France).
1973	Albert Bertrana, Manager of Technical Development, joins the company in Paris.
1975	Creation of the manufacturing factory for microphones in Barcelona (Spain).
1976	First importation of the PRESIDENT brand in Europe from the USA.
1978	Creation of the Groupe President Electronics (GPE) head office in Balaruc (South of France).
1979	Creation of the first subsidiary PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS IBERICA in Barcelona (Spain).
1980	First agreement with UNIDEN for the distribution of the PRESIDENT brand in Europe.
1982	Production of the first PRESIDENT antennas by GPE IBERICA.
1988	NEW GPE head office in an ultra-modern designed building, located in front of the Thau Pond (Sète) on a 60.000m2 ground (~15 acres) and a surface of 12.000 m2 (~130,000 square feet)
1990	First sales record for GPE with more than one million CB radios sold in only 12 months.
1991	The production of PRESIDENT antennas exceeds 2 millions units per year.
1992	Creation of PRESIDENT POLAND subsidiary in Czestochowa (Poland).
1994	First Multi-Channel CB Transceivers in Europe like the PRESIDENT JAMES and PRESIDENT GEORGE.
1995	Acquisition of our STABO subsidiary in Hildesheim (Germany).
1996	Worldwide Patented invention of the “Automatic Squelch Control” (ASC) by Albert Bertrana.
2006	Creation of PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS UKRAINE subsidiary in Kiev (Ukraine).
2008	Opening of GROUPE PRESIDENT BALTIC subsidiary in Lithuania.
2010	Creation of GROUPE PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS INDIA subsidiary in New Delhi (India).
2014	Opening of PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS CZECH subsidiary in Ostrava (Czech Republic).
2015	Creation of CI-BI RADIO BEL subsidiary in Minsk (Belarus).
2016	PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS USA establishes office and warehouse in Naples, Florida. President CB Radios are now available in the North American Continent!
2021	First FCC approved AM+FM CB radio in the U.S. !
